The WEPA Gallery “off-site” at CPA Censier, with the artist ValJonville.

The CPA Censier is honoured to present one of the artists represented by Galerie WEPA, ValJonville, from 2 to 21 November 2026, with her eponymous exhibition, ECORCES CHROMATIQUES.

ValJonville offers a true exploration of material and colour. She combines oil paint, gold and copper leaf, oil pastels and coloured inks to create rich, textured compositions that seem almost alive. Layers, colours and the interplay of textures give rise to profound and dynamic works, in which the eye wanders and discovers something new time and again.

Without directly depicting nature, ValJonville captures its essence: her paintings variously evoke tree bark, forest landscapes and fragments of vegetation. Colour plays a central role, guiding the viewer’s emotions and imagination.

Galerie WEPA continues its commitment to supporting emerging artists within the vibrant contemporary art scene, rich in diverse sensibilities and artistic movements. ValJonville perfectly embodies this spirit: an honest yet compassionate perspective on society and nature, a way of observing the world without artifice, with a depth that resonates with the vision the gallery seeks to champion.
