By migrating to the PTV Developer SaaS platform from PTV Logistics , the software designer dedicated to medical transport SCR Informatiques, based in Erbray (Loire-Atlantique), guarantees optimal traceability of the transport of nearly 5,000 Light Medical Vehicles (VSL) and taxis in France and the French overseas departments. The Erbrée-based company SCR Informatiques is entering a new digital era by adopting the PTV Developer SaaS API platform , designed by the publisher PTV Logistics. The designer and integrator of software dedicated to medical transport recently migrated to this solution by integrating three families of APIs from the platform into its SCR'AMBGES solution, a turnkey ERP for end-to-end management of ambulance company activity. To guarantee perfect traceability of transport carried out by its customers, SCR Informatiques relies on PTV Logistics' geocoding, route and distance calculation, and map display APIs. Components that the publisher also uses for its other digital solution SCR'Urgences , dedicated to the supervision of private ambulances in the event of emergency interventions triggered by the SAMU.

Certified invoicing based on actual costs

Thanks to these features, the SCR'AMBGES software optimizes the journeys of ambulance drivers, representing more than 1,000 companies in France and the French overseas departments. It is able to offer a much more detailed vision of the journeys to be made, with a view to reducing the kilometers to be traveled and driving times. SCR'AMBGES converts addresses into location points - which is essential for transporting new patients - accurately calculates the distances to be covered and the driving time, taking into account real traffic and traffic history. Finally, thanks to the mapping module, the SCR Informatiques ERP has the capacity to trace the actual route taken by vehicles. As a result, companies can move from a fixed flat-rate mileage invoice to certified invoicing based on kilometers actually traveled, thus allowing them to benefit from more advantageous rates from the National Health Insurance Fund.

Better consideration of simultaneous transport

Another major advantage enabled by PTV Logistics APIs: the search for simultaneous transport of several patients grouped in the same vehicle to optimize journeys. The software optimizes journeys by visualizing them in real time on the map and calculating the detours to be made in terms of mileage and duration. This win-win matching search allows transport companies to meet the 5% quota for shared medical transport since the entry into force of Decree No. 2025-202 of February 28, 2025. This form of supervised carpooling encourages the reduction of costs for social security while remaining compliant with the medical constraints of patients.
