Saint-Brieuc Armor Agglomération: ensuring equal access to culture

Every week, a shuttle service transports 4,000 items (books, CDs, DVDs, and more) between the 32 media libraries that make up the intermunicipal network of Saint-Brieuc Armor Agglomération.

Ensuring equal access to culture remains a challenge for many local authorities. At Saint-Brieuc Armor Agglomération (SBAA), this commitment to accessibility has taken the form of a discreet yet highly effective reorganization. Since January 2025, a dedicated shuttle service has enabled residents to access the combined collections of all 32 media libraries across the network, regardless of their municipality of residence.
