LTR Vialon chooses PTV Developer

Saint-Étienne-based carrier and logistics company LTR Vialon has migrated to the new PTV Developer API platform, developed by PTV Logistics. This strategic transition represents a key step in the modernization of its TMS software, relying on a latest-generation SaaS solution designed to meet current and future transportation challenges.

With a fleet of 730 vehicles, LTR Vialon is the largest carrier in the Loire region. Already a user of PTV xServer routing APIs since 2020, the company reached a new milestone last October by adopting PTV Developer, PTV Logistics' latest-generation platform. The objective of this adoption is to strengthen the capabilities of its transportation management software.

Available in SaaS mode, PTV Developer provides LTR Vialon with a wide range of APIs. These APIs allow the carrier to develop a customized TMS, leveraging use cases to simplify configuration and integration steps, and complete a migration in just a few weeks.

The platform is used by LTR Vialon to perform precise address geocoding and optimized route calculations for its heavy goods vehicles, incorporating the latest industry data, such as toll rate increases, bridge heights, and other specific heavy goods vehicle requirements.

This migration to PTV Developer has also enhanced LTR Vialon's TMS with advanced mapping tools such as alternative route visualization and mileage monitoring. These features provide the operations team with greater visibility to secure their decisions, while improving the fluidity and ease of navigation for daily journeys.
