During an official ceremony, Riou Glass, a specialist in high-performance energy-efficient and environmentally friendly insulating glass, was awarded the Best Managed Companies label by Deloitte on Thursday, June 19.

Created over thirty years ago by Deloitte Canada, this label was introduced in France in 2021 and is now present in more than 46 countries. It recognizes a total of 1,300 companies worldwide, including 28 in France this year. Its objective is to recognize private sector companies for their management excellence and overall performance. The selection is based on four criteria: strategy, resources and innovation, culture and commitment, governance, and financial aspects, thus offering a holistic approach to entrepreneurial success.

Among the 28 French companies awarded the 2025 prize, Riou Glass was honored to be awarded the prestigious label, illustrating the quality of its governance through the implementation of concrete initiatives benefiting its 1,400 employees and partners. Among these, the jury praised the employee shareholding campaign launched at the end of 2024 under the leadership of its president, Christine Riou-Feron. This initiative gave 100% of French employees access to the company's capital, with an exceptional contribution of over half a million euros, giving everyone the opportunity to become owners of their own work tools. The jury members also praised the completion of an in-depth employee survey. Conducted at 16 of the industrial group's sites, this initiative was part of an active listening and co-development approach, with the aim of implementing significant actions in line with employee concerns. Valid for one year, the Best Managed Companies label strengthens Riou Glass's reputation in its market by increasing its media visibility. The group will also benefit from privileged access to the international Best Managed Companies network, which brings together the 1,300 distinguished companies, and will participate in exclusive events.

"For this fourth edition in France, we are delighted to count Riou Glass among the companies recognized with our Best Managed Companies label of excellence," said Guillaume Detourmignies, Deloitte Partner in charge of the program.

"Receiving the Best Managed Companies label is a source of immense pride for Riou Glass. This distinction recognizes the daily commitment of our teams and the culture of excellence that drives our company. I would like to warmly thank all our employees who, through their talent and dedication, contribute to making Riou Glass a major and innovative player in the glass industry. This award encourages us to pursue our ambition: to combine performance, innovation, and human commitment to build the future," concluded Christine Riou Feron, President of Riou Glass.
