With its score rising from 86 to 90 out of 100, the European provider of circular pooling solutions for handling equipment once again ranks among the top 1% of companies worldwide assessed by EcoVadis. This improvement reflects the progress made in sustainability and corporate responsibility.

Eck en Wiel, the Netherlands, 2 November 2026 – FABER Group has retained its EcoVadis Platinum Medal for the sixth consecutive year, while improving its overall score from 86 to 90 out of 100. This distinction once again places FABER among the top 1% of companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide. Conducted at Group level, the assessment covers its various entities: IPP, PAKi Logistics, PRS and vPOOL. It highlights FABER's progress in integrating sustainability considerations into its business activities, management practices and corporate governance.

Progress across all four assessment areas

The latest assessment highlights improvements in each of the four areas evaluated by EcoVadis: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

The Environment score increased from 90 to 93 out of 100. The scores for Labour & Human Rights and Sustainable Procurement both rose from 87 to 90 points. Finally, the Ethics score improved from 79 to 82 points.

These results build on several initiatives implemented over the past year. FABER has notably strengthened its internal policies, continued its efforts to ensure that all newly purchased wooden pallets are FSC- and/or PEFC-certified, and obtained validation of its emissions reduction targets by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

The Group has also made progress in transparency, with its sustainability reports independently verified by a third-party organisation. Sustainability considerations are also increasingly integrated into human resources management, operations, risk management and procurement processes.

These achievements demonstrate a structured approach to strengthening sustainability management practices and embedding corporate responsibility into the Group's day-to-day operations across Europe.

“Retaining our Platinum rating for the sixth consecutive year while improving our score demonstrates the progress we are making in embedding responsible practices throughout our organisation. For our customers and partners, independent assessments provide greater transparency into our approach to sustainability. For us, they serve as an essential benchmark for continuous improvement. This distinction recognises the collective commitment of our teams and encourages us to keep raising our standards,” says Ingrid Faber, CEO of FABER.

Sustainability at the heart of FABER's business model

Sustainability is closely linked to FABER's circular business model. Through its open and closed pooling solutions, the Group promotes the reuse of pallets, crates and other handling equipment across European supply chains.

By optimising the use of this equipment, extending its lifespan and promoting responsible sourcing, FABER contributes to more efficient logistics and more resource-efficient supply chains.

The EcoVadis assessment complements this approach by providing an independent perspective on the management practices underpinning the Group's sustainability commitments.

A commitment to continuous improvement

At a time when expectations regarding corporate responsibility, transparency and the management of impacts throughout supply chains continue to grow, retaining the Platinum Medal for the sixth consecutive year represents an important recognition for FABER.

Beyond this distinction, the EcoVadis assessment provides the Group with a framework for measuring its progress and identifying new opportunities for improvement. FABER intends to continue strengthening its sustainability management practices, increasing transparency around its initiatives and promoting responsible practices across all its European operations and supply chain partnerships.
