Immersion in the heart of the sector's challenges!
Top Logistics will kick off on Tuesday, June 24th with an "off-site" day featuring three immersions in innovative transport and logistics decarbonization systems. The first event will take place at 9:30 a.m. at Lahaye Global Logistics' Rennes rail terminal, highlighting combined rail-road transport and alternative energies. The program includes a site presentation, train maneuvers, an analysis of the challenges of modal shift, and a demonstration of an electric tractor. At 3:00 p.m., the event will head to the port of Saint-Malo for a presentation by Grain de Sail Logistics, where their innovative maritime transport decarbonization policy and their collaboration with Lahaye Global Logistics will be unveiled. Finally, at 5:00 p.m., Top Logistics will participate in the evening celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Bretagne Supply Chain association at the Palais du Grand Large. This evening will feature an inspiring conference hosted by sailor and honorary president of WWF-France, Isabelle Autissier. Please note that participation in these events requires prior registration via the Top Logistics website.
Two days of business, meetings, and exchanges
Top Logistics will open its doors on June 25 at 9 a.m. with an inaugural conference: "How the Circular Supply Chain Can Become a Driver of Growth." This session will be moderated and enriched by François-Michel Lambert, Member of Parliament from 2012 to 2022, President of SOROA, Vice President of AIFREC, a learned society for interdisciplinary research on the circular economy, Founder of the National Institute of the Circular Economy, and co-author of the book "Circular Economy: The Challenges to Achieve a High-Performance Economy" (Dunod), written in collaboration with Walter Stahel, a pioneer of the circular economy. Thibaud Moulin of the consulting firm KYU Associés will also speak at this roundtable, drawing on the results of the 6th edition of the KYU Supply Chain Risk Barometer, conducted in partnership with Arts & Métiers, France Supply Chain, AMRAE, and Belrim. At 11:30 a.m., a pitch session, organized in partnership with SprintProject, will allow around ten startups to present their innovative solutions on stage, as well as in a dedicated space called "La Place des Innovations."
The afternoon will be dedicated to generational collaboration in logistics, with a roundtable discussion organized at 5:30 p.m. with the École Supérieure de Logistique Industrielle (ESLI) and in collaboration with Bretagne Supply Chain. Moderated by journalist Nathalie Bureau du Colombier, the panel will compare the perspectives of three generations—students and professionals—on the ecological transition and the integration of AI into their professions. The discussions will draw on the results of a study conducted in advance with these populations. At 7:00 p.m., the awards ceremony will recognize the best CSR strategies, in collaboration with SprintProject and Supply Chain Village, in six categories, including two new ones: the Urban Logistics Provider Award and the Transport Provider Award. A networking evening, organized in an exceptional and secret setting, will conclude the day in a friendly atmosphere.
On June 26, a new conference dedicated to decarbonization and the challenges of green logistics will feature in the morning. Céline Guilloit, Director of Studies at Logicités, will discuss the transformation of supply chains to reduce carbon footprints, as well as the transformation of transportation and distribution models. She will also give a voice to Charles Dubouix, Decarbonization Manager at OVRSEA, who will also lead two workshops during the event entitled "Fresco of Freight," aimed at facilitating decision-making to decarbonize the supply chain.
Cycle Logistics in the Spotlight
During the two days of Top Logistics, cycle logistics will be in the spotlight with the aim of promoting this ecological alternative to motorized vehicles and raising awareness among decision-makers about its adoption. Two areas will be dedicated to it: the first, a pavilion hosted by the association Les Boîtes à Vélo - France, which will present its Cyclo-cargologie program. It will also host four key operators: Les Triporteurs Français, Sloop, Toutenvélo, and CitéLiv. The second space will be a vast 1,000 m² demonstration area, located at the entrance to Quai St-Malo, where various equipment such as cargo bikes and towing systems will be on display.
These initiatives will converge at a friendly event on June 25 at 6 p.m.: Les Boîtes à Vélo - France will host a cocktail reception with its Breton branch, chaired by Alexandre Euzenat, CEO of the Saint-Malo-based company La Petite Boucle. He will also offer a tour of his cycle logistics micro-hub located in the port of Saint-Malo on June 26 at 8 a.m., providing a complete immersion in cycle logistics solutions.
"With its varied and immersive activities offered over three days, Top Logistics stands out as a must-attend event in the transport and logistics sector." This unique experience will offer participants moments that are operational, friendly, and engaging. An exceptional setting that will not only encourage meetings and the sharing of best practices, but above all, the creation of business opportunities,” emphasizes Jérôme Letu-Montois, event director.
