Top Transport returns to Marseille for a 34th edition

On October 14 and 15, the business meetings of the transport and logistics sector Top Transport will once again take place at the Palais du Pharo, in Marseille, for their 34th edition. An unmissable annual meeting for the profession, the event will bring together this year nearly 800 participants in a context of high tension. Resilience, sharing of solutions and exploration of new paths will be at the heart of the programme, with one objective: chart new routes.

International conflicts, rising diesel prices, driver shortages, regulatory pressure: the transport sector is multiplying challenges. It is in this climate that Top Transport, the benchmark event for transport buyers and suppliers, will open its doors on October 14 at the Palais du Pharo for two days of exchanges, meetings, sharing of best practices and business appointments. In terms of figures, nearly 800 participants representing leading companies in the sector are expected. More than 170 exhibitors, solution providers, will be present, among which ALAINE, ASTR'IN GROUPE, ASTRE, DFDS, DHL, GEODIS, GROUPE BLONDEL, KUEHNE + NAGEL, LABATUT TRANSPORT, LAHAYE GLOBAL LOGISTICS, TAB RAIL ROAD, UPPLY and many others. Major shippers will also be expected, with an ambitious objective of 350 shippers representing around 250 companies, among which: ADEO SERVICES, BAYER, BUT CONFORAMA, CHARLES & ALICE, DANONE, FNAC DARTY, GROUPE BEL, HEINEKEN, INTERSPORT, LA REDOUTE, NESTLE, ROYAL CANIN, SEPHORA, SODIAAL…

A dynamic of continuous improvement  

Over the two days, 3,800 business meetings will be held, around a dozen conferences and highlights that will punctuate the event. A mechanism combining business, sharing and conviviality, well established for more than 30 years, which appeals to participants: 100% of guests and 96% of partners declared themselves satisfied with their experience at the 2025 edition of Top Transport Marseille. A growing satisfaction that is not the result of chance: “After each edition of Top Transport, I take the time, with my teams, to read with the greatest attention the positive feedback and areas for improvement from the surveys administered to participants. This active listening allows us to be permanently in a dynamic of continuous improvement and to make the concept of the event evolve as closely as possible to their expectations,” explains Jérôme Letu Montois, director of Top Transport.

An edition at the heart of decarbonisation  

The kick-off of workshops and conferences will be given at 9 a.m. with an opening plenary of the AUTF (Association des Utilisateurs de Transport de Fret), which will unveil the results of a survey dedicated to the decarbonisation of road freight transport. The theme of low-carbon logistics will continue in the afternoon with a round table led by the local media MProvence, dedicated to flows on the Mediterranean Rhône Saône axis and raising the question: can the future of river transport make Marseille Fos a low-carbon logistics corridor? The day will end with an intervention by the FNTR (Fédération Nationale des Transports Routiers) on the structural changes in transport and the need to reinvent oneself to stay on course. The subject of decarbonisation will also be on the programme of the second day of Top Transport, at 9:30 a.m., with a round table on the electrification of transport fleets, led by the consulting firm Carbone 4, which will provide an overview of progress and obstacles. The morning will finally end with a last round table dedicated to multimodal transport, moderated by the CNA (Conseil National des Achats).

Hackathon and renewed off-site operations  

Top Transport will also offer several highlights. The event renews its collaboration with the AETL (Acteurs, Élèves et Étudiants du Transport et de la Logistique) around a student hackathon organised on the first day of the event, at the end of which three prizes will be awarded by the AETL’s privileged partners at the beginning of the evening. A first prize will be awarded by the UCICP (Union des Caisses de Congés Payés), a second by the AMEF (Association Métiers Entreprises et Formations) and finally, the AETL will award the Coupe de Cœur Prize. Two “Hors les Murs” operations will also be organised the day before the event. In the early afternoon, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., a visit will be dedicated to discovering a hydrogen refuelling station operated by Teal Mobility in Fos sur Mer. It will be followed, at 6 p.m., by a presentation of the development projects and perspectives of the Port Marseille Fos at Club 29 of the Tour La Marseillaise, an emblematic place in Marseille.

“By anticipating better and moving forward together, the sector will be able to face crises. This 34th edition aims to bring concrete solutions and support the transformation of transport for the years to come,” concludes Jérôme Letu Montois.
