The specialist in ultra-fast charging solutions for electric vehicles, Chargepoly, is broadening its horizons and is now tackling the passenger transport sector. After proving the effectiveness of its technologies in the field of logistics, the Aix-based company is today announcing its entry into this growing market.

This new step marks a decisive turning point for Chargepoly. With strong partnerships with key players in logistics, such as BERT & YOU, Renault Trucks France and Transports Prévost, the Provençal company is turning to local authorities and private passenger transport companies. "The passenger transport market is at the forefront of electrification, with almost a third of buses sold now electric," explains Thomas Vanquaethem, Deputy CEO of Chargepoly. "This is a strategic segment for our growth. Our solution, proven in the logistics and transport market, has been adapted to perfectly meet the needs of bus and coach fleets. »

A "fleet centric" architecture for bus and coach operators

To meet the specific requirements of bus and coach fleets, Chargepoly relies on an innovative and distributed architecture. Unlike dual-socket charging stations, the station's architecture pools power conversion via remote cabinets that transform alternating current into direct current, then distributed to compact and modular charging satellites. This design better meets the space constraints of depots and minimizes work.

French manufacturing and controlled 24/7 technical support

One of Chargepoly's major assets also lies in the local manufacturing of its stations in France. This proximity guarantees rapid access to spare parts as well as a responsive after-sales service. Fleet operators benefit from technical support available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, thus ensuring optimal continuity of service and rapid intervention in the event of a breakdown. To ensure complete control of its solutions, the company designs and develops its own software and hardware technologies from start to finish.

Optimized interoperability and real-time management

The Chargepoly solution is compatible with all electric buses and the communication protocols between the station and the vehicles comply with the main market standards (ISO 15118, VDV261, VDV 463, etc.). Thanks to the Lucie SaaS platform, fleet managers can supervise and optimize the use of charging satellites in real time and adjust operating schedules. Lucie, enhanced by a "smart charging" feature in partnership with Dreev, also allows you to monitor the electricity market hour by hour in order to benefit from the cheapest hours for charging. Finally, the platform can be integrated with the main operating tools of fleet managers (SAE, telematics, etc.).

Maximum flexibility and reduced installation costs

Designed to facilitate large-scale electrification, the Chargepoly solution is perfectly suited to environments with limited space. Thanks to its compact charging satellites, which can be installed on the ground or fixed to the wall, it offers great installation flexibility while reducing the costs and time associated with civil engineering works. An efficient solution that meets the requirements of modern infrastructures.

“Chargepoly is committed to providing bus and coach fleet managers with a charging solution that combines performance, flexibility and cost optimization. With our innovative approach and local technical support, we support operators in their transition to electric with complete peace of mind,” concludes Hadi Moussavi, President and Founder of Chargepoly.
