SSI Schaefer appoints Nicolas Bourgeois as Sales Director for France

SSI Schaefer, a global player in intralogistics solutions, announces the appointment of Nicolas Bourgeois as Sales Director for France. His mission: to continue the company's growth momentum in France by developing new markets and meeting all automation needs.
A graduate of IDRAC Business School in Lyon, Nicolas Bourgeois began his career in 1990 as an intralogistics sector manager at forklift manufacturer Atlet. After three years at GL Events as a sector manager, he joined Videotronic France, which specialized in the marketing of scanners and digital displays for professionals. From 1995 to 2018, he rose through the ranks, from sector manager to the dual role of Sales Director for France and CEO of the After-Sales Service (ASV) business. He then continued his career for six years at the German group Böwe Systec as a supply chain product manager. He created and launched the intralogistics business and completed nineteen sorting machine installations during this period. Nicolas Bourgeois, who has been in office since May 15, 2025, succeeds Thierry Hennebiq. He leads a team of five sales engineers.
"I am delighted to join SSI Schaefer and to put my experience in intralogistics to work for the company in France. My goal is to support its growth by targeting new strategic markets. This involves enhancing our equipment offering, but above all, promoting our integrated end-to-end logistics solutions: stacker cranes, shuttles, conveyors, AMR/AGV robots, picking systems, WMS, WCS, and other intelligent modules. This comprehensive approach allows us to provide a tailored solution for all automation projects," says Nicolas Bourgeois.
