IPP, a European specialist in the rental and sustainable management of wooden pallets, announces the appointment of Alexandre Roussel as Director of Operations for Southern Europe. His mission: to support IPP's strong growth by developing operational synergies in France, the Iberian Peninsula, and Italy.

A graduate civil engineer from the École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, Alexandre Roussel (45 years old) has over twenty years of solid experience in retail transport and logistics. He began his career in 2004 as a project manager within the logistics subsidiary of the Casino Group, before quickly moving into operational management of two logistics sites. In 2009, he joined the transport company GT Solutions. For eleven years, he managed one of the company's regional subsidiaries, covering a vast geographical area in eastern France, from Nice to Nancy. In 2020, he joined the logistics provider Lahaye Global Logistics as a division managing director, overseeing four strategic activities: the regional distribution network, long-haul transport, the management of transport flows for major accounts, and national and international freight forwarding. He then managed six companies representing a consolidated annual turnover of €100 million.

Having joined IPP at the beginning of September, Alexandre Roussel's mandate is to ensure the efficient flow of wooden pallets from IPP's clients' production plants to retail outlets, by creating operational synergies within a circular economy logistics framework. He is responsible for France, the Iberian Peninsula, and Italy.

“Pallet work is fascinating. Organizing logistics flows is very complex and requires a real knowledge of the field and the customers. I am delighted to join IPP during this exciting period of growth, where organizational, digitalization and business challenges are at the heart of my mission,” says Alexandre Roussel.
