The expert in auditing and monitoring energy installations has chosen PTV OptiFlow , the latest generation route optimization solution developed by the publisher PTV Logistics . The latter automatically generates the auditors' schedule in response to a strong commitment from the company: organizing intervention appointments at fixed times.

PTV Logistics demonstrates its added value in terms of optimizing technician tours. Indeed, the publisher recently finalized the implementation of its PTV OptiFlow software solution within COPRAUDIT , an auditing company based in Alsace. Created in 2011, COPRAUDIT is one of the few companies in France to benefit from ministerial approval for the inspection of indoor gas and collective use installations. It also carries out RGE (Recognized Environmental Guarantor) audits on renewable energy systems, such as heat pumps, wood installations or photovoltaic panels, on behalf of qualification bodies such as QUALIBAT , QUALIT'ENR and QUALIFELEC . These missions involve a high level of responsibility. They aim to verify the regulatory compliance and safety of the installations, with the key, for gas installations, the issuance of certificates of conformity. To ensure these checks, a team of around ten auditors, with up to 54 different technical skills, carries out several thousand interventions each year with individuals throughout France.

Complex tours

To meet this challenge, COPRAUDIT has been using the PTV Logistics optimization tool since September . Based on the lists of installations to be audited provided by its customers - installers, energy distributors and qualification bodies - the company's planners establish each week, using PTV OptiFlow , the schedules of its controllers over a period of one to two months. This planning integrates a multitude of specific constraints: the company's commitment to set appointments at fixed times, the specific technical skills of each auditor, the coverage of the assigned geographical areas, the priority orders of emergencies or even possible cancellations. Once the information has been entered, PTV OptiFlow 's algorithms generate an optimized schedule in just a few minutes.

"With PTV OptiFlow, people are truly placed at the heart of tour optimization. This software integrates perfectly with our complex constraints, taking into account both the multiple skills of our auditors and the specific needs of each individual. The possibility of offering appointments at fixed times constitutes a real competitive advantage for us, reinforcing the quality of our service." testifies Frédéric Schwartz , Manager of COPRAUDIT .

Significant results from the first months

In less than three months of use, COPRAUDIT has already seen significant gains . The transition from manual management to an automated solution has increased the number of appointments made per auditor, improving the company's productivity. The company is now able to absorb up to 25% more activity during periods of high demand. In addition, PTV OptiFlow has helped to digitalize the appointment booking process. The information generated is automatically transmitted to COPRAUDIT's ERP, which sends validation requests directly to individuals by email. Finally, the solution saves valuable time for planners, allowing them to focus on strategic tasks, including improving the customer experience.

"After a few adjustments specific to our business, we now benefit from an intuitive and tailor-made route optimization solution. Easily adopted by our planners, it perfectly meets our business specificities. We are fully satisfied with the gains obtained and the personalized support offered by PTV Logistics" concludes the manager.
