Thibaut Esnée

European specialist in sustainable wooden pallet rental and management, IPP, announces the expansion of Thibaut Esnée's responsibilities, as he is appointed Regional Managing Director for France, Spain, and Portugal.

He now leads the France and Iberia region, as part of a new strategic organization designed to support the group's strong growth in Europe. A business school graduate with a master's degree specializing in agri-food logistics, Thibaut Esnée has over 25 years of experience in the supply chain. He began his career at Carrefour in 1999 before holding logistics and operational management positions at ID Logistics, B.S.L., and then Dachser, where he led Contract Logistics activities for France and the Maghreb. He joined IPP in January 2020 as Country Director for France.

Since his arrival, the French subsidiary has recorded a remarkable 60% increase in revenue, driven by a flow optimization strategy, a structural transformation, and an ambitious sustainable development policy. In his new role, Thibaut Esnée will lead the regional strategy for France, Spain, and Portugal. He will work closely with Sergio Sanz, Director of the Iberia Business Unit, whose high-potential scope has benefited from significant growth in these markets in recent years.

120 million movements by 2030

This appointment is part of a broader reorganization of IPP into four major geographic regions: the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Scandinavia; France and the Iberian Peninsula; Benelux; and Germany and Eastern Europe. This new model aims to strengthen regional synergies, harmonize processes, and effectively respond to local specificities in a context of strong growth. Between 2020 and 2024, IPP saw its activity increase by 37%, reaching 70 million pallet movements. The target is set at 120 million movements by 2030, supported by investments in strategic markets such as Eastern Europe and Scandinavia, while exploring new opportunities in the Maghreb.

"IPP continues to grow by leveraging synergies between countries and launching structuring projects to improve the commercial and operational efficiency of our European network. I am proud to contribute to this exciting and optimistic adventure for the years to come. The pallet is an essential element of the supply chain. Its rental model fully addresses current environmental challenges. Our goal is an ambitious reduction in our CO2 emissions by 2030, while achieving responsible economic growth," comments Thibaut Esnée, Regional Managing Director for France & Iberia at IPP.
